MUSE Inspire 2025: A Valuable Exchange of Ideas for MEDITECH Clients

MUSE Inspire 2025 brought together an energized community of MEDITECH clients, IT leaders, and vendor partners creating an ideal environment for knowledge sharing and innovation. With strong participation from hospital executives and MEDITECH leadership, the conference highlighted both the momentum behind Expanse and the platform’s ongoing evolution to meet the needs of today’s healthcare organizations.

Key insights for MEDITECH clients included:

  • Ongoing Expanse Adoption: Hospitals of all sizes continue to move forward with MEDITECH Expanse, reinforcing its relevance in today’s EHR market. Organizations are achieving full, unified charting and improving the patient experience with Patient Connect.

  • MEDITECH Traverse Exchange is rapidly enhancing the ability of organizations to share data securely and efficiently, especially in communities with diverse EHR environments. Using the FHIR-based network, organizations are securely sharing data with external providers, resulting in more efficient care coordination, reduced testing duplication and improved delivery of patient care.  According to MEDITECH, there are now 73 U.S. health systems live, including over 250 facilities across 35 states and 40+ TEFCA-enabled organizations.

  • Cloud and AI Innovation: MEDITECH’s investment in cloud infrastructure and AI capabilities is not only improving system performance and cybersecurity but also contributing to higher client satisfaction, deeper engagement and reduced provider burnout.

The keynote address by Shannon Connell, MEDITECH Vice President of Customer Experience and General Counsel, and Rachel Wilkes, Director of Marketing, focused on MEDITECH’s continued investments in innovation, customer success, and strengthening partnerships, which drives tangible value for customers and changes to further deepen its partnerships with customers.

Haffty Consulting was honored to have John Valutkevich, Interoperability Program Director at Haffty Consulting, present with MEDITECH’s Allison Pallatroni, Product Manager, on the topic of Interoperability. This session, entitled “Start Packing and Map Your Interoperability Journey” shared how MEDITECH Traverse can help organizations enhance interoperability and put forth the recommendation that hospitals should assess their interoperability strategy by addressing current interfaces, Traverse adoption, new data exchange solutions, and to be mindful of regulatory impacts.
